    Advanced Building Innovation Company (ABIC)

    ABIC is part of the Caivan Communities Group of Companies; an Ottawa-based land development and home building company currently developing an extensive portfolio of projects across Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area.

    Leading low-rise residential construction into the cyber-physical industrial revolution.

    This role is responsible for the operation of machines used in the fabrication, assembly, layout and framing of products in all lines.

    The Machine Operator will troubleshoot issues causing failures, drive continuous improvement of the production and maintenance operating, elevate issues impeding optimum performance.

    Ensure the efficient operation of equipment used in the manufacturing of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies
    Manage preventive maintenance, safety, 5S and quality control processes and ensuring cleanliness standards are met in the work area
    Operation of equipment used in the manufacturing of products according to instructions, on-time, and to the prescribed quality standard
    Escalating issues that may impact production to the Team Leader or supervisor on duty
    Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
    Must have a valid driver's license, and regular access to a vehicle
