    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for the Inspection of products/sub-assemblies/components for various projects in the manufacturing facility in Moncton, NB, Canada.

    Perform physical and visual inspection of components, sub-assemblies and finished products at process stages to ensure the delivered items meet the appropriate specification and company workmanship standards and generate and process Non-conformance documentation where required.

    Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork, ensure issues are addressed and drive the improvements.

    Conduct and manage appropriate tests to verify product and component performance.
    Produce KPI feedback on performance in areas of responsibility.
    Collate product data information and distribute.
    Maintain electronic drawing register and distribute drawings to Production.
    Qualification in Manufacturing/Production Engineering or Quality Systems.
    Proven experience in a quality control / quality assurance role.
    A University Degree or College Diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge gained through other forms of education or training;
    Experience working in a ISO9001 certified manufacturing facility or company.
    Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, superior organizational abilities, and excellent computer skills.
    Proven experience as quality control inspector or relevant role.
    Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, Assembly diagrams
    Knowledge of quality inspection principles
    Willing to work shift work if required
    knowledge of IFS is an asset

    Must be eligible to meet requirements of export control and security regulations including Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian government security clearances.
