    Description
    • Ottawa Warehouse Assistant

    Benefits:
    • Wage is $21.00 per hour
    • Health Benefits after 6 months (company pays 80% and team member pays 20%)
    • 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
    • 6 paid sick days per year –eligible after 6 months.
    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Accurately select customer orders, and pack them onto a skid for shipping.
    • Wrap skid.
    • Load and unload trucks.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
    • Perform all other tasks/duties as required.
    • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices.
    • Record shortages and reject damaged goods.
    FULL-TIME night shift is 9 –5:00 am (Sunday- Thursday) Hours can vary based on business needs

    Skills:
    • Good communication and listening skills.
    • Must be reliable and punctual.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must be able to read and write English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to lift 50 – 60 lbs.
    • Is a team player and result oriented.
    • Forklift experience preferred, however willing to train to work towards your forklift license.
    Working Conditions:
    • Working in and out of Coolers and Freezer (min time spent in the freezer).
    Requirements:
    • Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
    • You are required to have certified safety boots
    • Valid forklift license is an asset.
