    Based in the Electrical Division Edmonton (EDE) facility, the Continuous Improvement Specialist will report to the Quality Manager. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be responsible for creating, developing and executing continuous improvement project plans.

    The Continuous Improvement Specialist will be expected to participate and provide expertise in Root Cause Analysis and well as process improvement.

    Create, Develop and Execute Continuous Improvement Projects following Lean and Six Sigma principals

    Maintain a thorough knowledge of Powell's Quality System and the execution of continuous improvement initiatives that support the system.

    Conduct and Participate in Root Cause Analysis, as required.
    Lead special projects, as required.
    Competent and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
    Command of the English language, both written and verbal
    Background in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Training required.
    Temperature controlled working environment
    Job requires working in an office setting as well as a manufacturing setting
    Must be able to climb stairs frequently throughout the shift.
