    We are currently looking for a MobYle Program Coordinator to join our team of committed professionals. This full-time summer contract position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario's Poplar location in Timmins . Reporting to the Manager of Child Care & Community Programs, the MobYle Program Coordinator is responsible for the development and the daily operation of the 2024 summer MobYle program, providing leadership to YMCA staff, ensuring adherence to the YMCA mission, Core Values while adhering to all Timmins Family YMCA policies and procedures.

    START DATE: April 29th, 2024

    LOCATION: Timmins, ON

    RATE OF PAY: $18.00 per hour

    Major Responsibilities

    • Create and implement a quality program
    • Ensure that the each child's needs are meet within their developmental stage
    • To direct, support and assist program staff in the delivery of excellent member service following Timmins Family YMCA standards, principles, policies and procedures
    • Respond to concerns in a positive and timely manner
    • Plan, deliver and evaluate programs with the Manager of Child Care & Community Programs
    • Provide Executive Director or Manager of Child Care & Community Programs with reports as requested
    • Must actively work towards maintaining a neat, clean, safe and well organized work area at all times
    • Must implement all policies and procedures outlined by the Timmins Family YMCA
    • To carry out other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Recreation & Leisure Services Diploma or Human Services Diploma (or working towards)
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
    • Ability to be a team leader in all aspects
    • Ability to work independently
    • Physically active
    • Knowledge of active games and sports
    • Strong knowledge of the community
    • Current Standard First Aid / CPR Certificate
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Clear driving record
    • Current and satisfactory Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
