As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Administrative and Operations Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of Parliamentary Protocol and Public Relations professionals.

    This role is 100% on-site.

    What You'll Do
    You'll act with integrity to:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a non-partisan support role.
  • Exercise tact, diplomacy and good judgement in a fast-paced, politically sensitive environment when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
    You'll support our collaboration as you:
  • Greet visitors on arrival, provide general information about entry procedures and manage any questions or concerns guests may have.
  • Provide guests with sound knowledge of all visitor programs and activities taking place in the Legislative Building.
  • Conduct public tours in English and French for various groups and visitors.
  • Staff the coat check area, as required, and support the daily operation of the Legislative Assembly Gift Shop, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring good two-way communication at all times.
  • Provide a high level of customer service in person, by email and over the phone to all clients and stakeholders.
    How You Qualify
    You demonstrate excellence through your:
  • Fluency in oral and written English and French.
  • Significant work experience in customer service.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Related public speaking experience giving public tours.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Legislature and an understanding of the Ontario government structure and general programs and services provided.
  • Knowledge of computer technology systems and office software applications.

    Salary Range: $45,897 - $61,095

    Votre description de tâche
    Vous agirez avec intégrité pour:

  • Faire preuve d'un sens élevé de professionnalisme tout en offrant un soutien non partisan.
  • Faire preuve de tact, de diplomatie et de bon jugement auprès des parties prenantes internes et externes dans un environnement dynamique et sensible sur le plan politique.
    Vous encouragerez la collaboration en:
  • Accueillant les visiteuses et visiteurs à leur arrivée, en fournissant des renseignements généraux sur les procédures d'accès à l'édifice et en répondant aux questions des visiteuses et visiteurs.
  • Fournissant des renseignements sur toutes les activités et tous les programmes offerts aux visiteuses et visiteurs à l'édifice de l'Assemblée législative.
  • Effectuant des visites guidées en français et en anglais pour divers groupes et pour les visiteuses et visiteurs.
  • Assurant une présence dans le vestiaire, le cas échéant, et en appuyant le fonctionnement quotidien de la boutique de cadeaux de l'Assemblée législative, au besoin.
  • Collaborant avec des parties prenantes internes pour assurer une bonne communication bidirectionnelle en tout temps.
  • Offrant un service de haut niveau à la clientèle en personne, par courriel et au téléphone.
    Vous avez les compétences requises
    Vous démontrez votre excellence par:
  • Votre maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
  • Votre expérience considérable en service à la clientèle.
  • Vos capacités interpersonnelles et de communication exceptionnelles.
  • Votre expérience connexe de parler en public dans le cadre de visites guidées.
  • Vos connaissances de l'Assemblée législative de l'Ontario, et des programmes et des services offerts, et votre compréhension de la structure gouvernementale de l'Ontario.
  • Vos connaissances des systèmes informatiques et des applications logicielles bureautiques.
