    Jonas Software – Club Division

    Jonas is seeking a self-motivated, Product Owner to assist with the management of the Jonas Club Management Software applications in the Club Division. The successful candidate must have strong time management, planning capabilities and can manage innovation, arising issues, and have the command skills that include setting clear priorities set. This individual should be adept at identifying conflicts or issues and then working with appropriate people to resolve them through listening and informing appropriately. This role requires an individual with the business acumen, strategic agility, the strength to stand alone while maintaining perspective and compassion. This is an exciting opportunity for an action-oriented, customer focused individual looking for a fast paced environment where they can make significant contributions to the Club Division.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the President, Jonas Club, the core responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Manage the Jonas Encore development plan on a day to day basis to ensure all development projects are completed on schedule
  • Write application specifications for all Jonas development projects
  • Write application specifications for any custom application development work requested from external software partners, existing Jonas clients, or the internal sales group
  • Work with Product Development Team to ensure that any custom application development or enhancement work assigned meets approved application specifications
  • Work with internal sales group and the Software Support Team to manage the the Ideas portal
  • Support internal departments for all new applications being released
  • Educate the internal sales group, and support staff on all new applications being released
  • Respond to product-related questions from internal sales personnel, marketing, and support personnel
  • Work with the Marketing department to ensure all necessary documentation for new applications is completed and delivered according to project plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Manage miscellaneous product developments projects on an as needed basis using timely decision making while managing vision and purpose

    • JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business Degree or diploma, or equivalent experience (PMP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL would be an asset
  • Minimum three years Jonas Software knowledge or equivalent club software knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
  • Manage Beta projects for new modules when required
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision
