    Job Description:

    The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a combination of large to mid-sized corporate accounts (80%) and individual clients (20%) by handling renewals and service touchpoints. By collaborating with the Sales and Underwriting teams, you will also be tasked with the implementation of some new accounts, mostly provided through company's broker network. There will be expectations to bring in new sales and adding benefit packages to existing policyholders.

    Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams regarding current and potential accounts.

  • Provide ongoing evaluation, information and support during development of proposal.
  • Communicate and implement changes to plan design for current clients.
  • Provide input on products and contract knowledge as it pertains to the program offered.
  • Act as a business partner and assess risk.
  • Management of Account Portfolio

  • Responsible for all aspects of managing assigned accounts, in particular financial reviews such as the annual renewal including detailed review of renewal action.
  • Maximize client relationships and client retention.
  • Manage client expectations.
  • Arrange and participate in employee meetings, when requested, ensuring that they are consistent and sensitive with client needs.
  • Identify revenue opportunities of existing clients.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active LLQP License or willing to obtain withing 6 months of employment
  • Bilingual English/French verbal and written
  • Active Drivers License & Ability to travel out of country (for client visits and trainings)
  • Minimum 1 year in sales/client facing role in travel, health, disability or P&C commercial insurance
  • High School Diploma.
