- A Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited technical college.
- 3+ years experience with urban roadway and/or highway construction inspection is required. Direct experience with Alberta Transportation and City of Calgary projects is preferred.
- Experience with traffic accommodation and familiarity with jurisdictional guidelines is an asset.
- Ability to proactively identify issues in the field and provide potential solutions to Project Manager and Designers.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in computer aided design and drafting of roadways projects.
- Proficiency in roadway design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience with estimating, tender document preparation and contract administration is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think quickly.
- Committed team player with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel within Canada.
