- Operate and maintain a diverse range of utilities equipment and systems, covering steam plants, HVAC, compressed air, water systems, natural gas, and refrigeration.
- Foster collaborative relationships with contractors, manufacturers, and vendors to optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and oversee essential protocols, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Preventive Maintenance (PMs), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), and Work Orders (WOs).
- Lead the conception and execution of projects aimed at enhancing utilities infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of engagement, responsibility, accountability, and teamwork among team members.
- Possession of a 2nd Class Power Engineering certification.
- Proficiency in managing steam, ammonia, and refrigeration systems.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in steam and refrigeration operations.
- Additional certifications such as Millwright and Plumbing are beneficial.
- Experience working in a food processing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and participation in continuous improvement programs like 6Sigma.
