    Recruitment Partners is looking for a career AP professional. Our client has an excellent reputation in the Edmonton market, is adding to their accounting team – this is an amazing opportunity as my client does not hire often, they have amazing retention

    This AP role is more robust than the average AP position – and while high volume is a prerequisite, experience with complex AP transactions will be just as important. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
    • Code and process a high volume of invoices
    • Lead the process of subcontractor progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases
    • Review for completeness: invoicing, including statutory declarations, WCB clearance letters, and insurance documentation
    • Schedule, and prepare payment of invoices
    • High volume of processing and reconciling of 20+ credit card transactions
    • Create files for vendors, reconcile vendor statements, and respond to all vendor inquiries
    • Subcontract administration
    • Various administrative duties
    Your strengths include:
    • 5+ years experience in a similar role
    • Experience in the construction industry is preferred)
    • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and employees
    • Accuracy and attention to detail is required
    • Experience working with Sage 300 and Timberscan an asset
