    Dare Foods Limited is a private, family owned portfolio of brands established in 1892. Our head office is in Cambridge Ontario. We have been located in the Kitchener area since the family's original store opened in 1892.

    Work Environment

    Role Overview

    The successful applicant for this opportunity is will be an individual who will be responsible for the updating and maintenance of mid-term/long term planning in IBP SAP. Update production plans to match planning cadences, inventory targets, and capacity prebuilds.

    Responsibilities

    • Development of mid-range (3-6 months) and long-range master production schedule (6-12 months)
    • Develop optimal inventory levels while ensuring customer service targets are met.
    • Communicate with Corporate Supply Chain regarding performance.
    • Work with the Production team(s) for optimal plant efficiency.
    • Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the schedule, and develop mitigation plans.
    • Review pending clearance risk, run outs, and communicate options to reduce.
    • Provide backup and support to the Production Planner.
    • Active member in innovation, renovation team meetings.
    • Create supply plan to support new products.
    • Working with internal departments to satisfy external customer's needs.
    • Conduct regular meetings and discussions with project teams to review and analyze project status, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.
    • Lead and run the RCCP planning meetings with Operations and Supply planning.
    • Update slides for Supply Review.
    • Update DOS, line utilization.
    • Communicate supply risk items within mid-term/long term.
    • Review and scored key KPI's (inventory vs target, planning rates)
    • Maintenance key data points including: Min, Max, Planning cadence, inventory targets.
    • Update key transportation lanes in IBP SAP.
    • Other ad hoc projects and reports as assigned.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve project goals.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in Supply Planning.
    • A post secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration.
    • Statistical Analysis, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
    • Solid MS Office Skills – Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
    • Experience in SAP IBP and SAP ECC recommended.
