    Description

    Purpose:

    Under the leadership of the Head Coach, the Assistant Football Coach Offensive Coordinator role fosters a positive culture that embraces and supports student-athletes, in the pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.

    The role assists the Head Coach in developing and implementing offensive systems.

    The role is responsible for the identification and recruitment of Student Athletes across Canada and performs administrative duties in the Varsity Sport Program.

    The role adheres to the values and principles of Athletics and Recreation aligned to providing dignity for all, respect for all, including others' time and contributions, fairness in all we do and create, and to hold the values of inclusivity and equity as key to a safe and collaborative environment that fosters success.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as kinesiology or physical education.

    Experience:

    Football coaching experience the high school, college, or university level.
    Experience in administration of sport programs.

    Skills:

    Knowledge
    Knowledge of all aspects of football.
    Knowledge of analytics required for
    Able to effectively teach and develop university caliber athletes.
    Effective communication organizational, interpersonal, record keeping, and numeracy skills.
    Problem-solving skills.
