    Permanent Full Time

    Community based Otolaryngologist position providing a high quality efficient service with access to elective and emergency operating room and ambulatory care clinic resources at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH) while maintaining a full-time practice in Orillia.

    Equal participation in provision of in-hospital regional outreach and on-call services.

    Provision of care for all patient types including surgical, pediatric, medical, and chronic care patients, sharing these different types of patients in an equitable and community-oriented manner with other members of the division.


    Administrative and Quality:

    • Participation in strategic planning and program development of otolaryngologist services.
    • Participation in ongoing quality improvement and safety activities related to Otolaryngology care.
    • Provision of efficient and high-quality Otolaryngology service in-hospital and in the community.

    This position is open to an Otolaryngology Surgeon who has an Ontario license and has been certified by the Royal College within the last five years.

    College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) unrestricted license that allows the physician to fulfil the requirements of this position.


    • Function effectively as a consultant, integrating all of the CanMEDS roles to provide optimal, ethical and patient-centred medical care,
