    Our projects are diverse and include, geotechnical/civil engineering, QA/QC construction monitoring, drill monitoring, geo- environmental monitoring, site investigations, foundation inspections, and soil and concrete lab

    FIELD TECHNICIAN/TECHNOLOGIST – CIVIL ENGINEERING POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS
    Grasp a wide breath of civil engineering facets such as – construction quality control monitoring, instrumentation installation and monitoring, and materials testing
    Attain material testing techniques in a resource-based professional environment
    Engage in the implementation of safety controls and promotion of safety in the workplace
    Receive samples and perform various lab testing, including CCIL Certified Aggregate, Concrete, and Asphalt while accurately following the ASTM, AASHTO, and CSA Standards procedures
    Ensure testing is being performed safely and on time while properly documenting results
    Receive the opportunity to be trained and work on field-based projects
    Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or Environmental Technology diploma program
    Experience in a technical role is considered an asset
    Flexible and a strong team player
    Dedication and attention to safety and client site rules and regulations
    Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and 2 years of driving experience
    Must be physically able to perform field work as required
    Successfully perform a Fit for Work and Drug and Alcohol test
    Working outdoors in all types of weather
    Schedule often involves 12-hour shifts
