    Intern – Production Designer - Toronto, ON (Hybrid) About Tilray Brands Inc.     Wage: CAD $20.00 per hour Shift: Monday-Friday, days

    Job Summary:
    The Production Designer Intern ensures successful execution of creative projects in support of Tilray Brands existing and growing product portfolio. Within a strictly regulated and dynamic market environment, the successful candidate will play a key role within the creative department. They will work cross-functionally with the brand and trade teams on the efficient and effective development and execution of a variety of print and digital creative assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with brand, trade, and digital managers to produce work according to creative brief requirements
    • QA art direction and content against brand guidelines to ensure creative excellence and accuracy
    • Finalize designs using image editing software
    • Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats
    • Suggest and apply image improvements, like creating gradients and layers
    • Manage the prepress process for print files
    • Archive produced images and graphics to digital asset manager and print on delivery site
    • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met
    • Keep up to date with trends in graphic design techniques and software
    • Provide clear communication around revisions and timelines
    • Assist Marketing, Sales, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development in necessary artwork changes and approvals
    • Collaborate with brand and creative team to develop creative solutions
    • Accurately track and populate weekly status reports to manage critical path and key project risks
    • Ensure brand consistency across all channels
    • Prioritize activities effectively across multiple programs to ensure best use of time
    • Challenge the status quo with continuous improvement and efficiency in mind
    • Leverage strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships
    • Support related duties as needed within the creative team Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year University program in related field.
    • Portfolio of completed graphic designs and creative projects
    • Knowledge of design, print and production process
    • Provide insight and solutions to overall process
    • Strong understanding of creative development and execution from end to end
    • Understanding or willingness to learn Canadian Cannabis Regulations
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Solution oriented with a positive approach
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple competing demands
    • Agility and ability to pivot easily
    • Foundational knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
