Are you passionate about coordinating and driving large scale execution across an entire engineering organization? As an Engineering Manager on Yelp's Ad UX Platform team, you'll work cross-functionally to collaborate with design, product, data science and many other teams across Yelp. You will lead, grow, and inspire a team of skilled engineers while sharing your passion for UI.

Our Ad UX Platform team is dedicated to crafting and enhancing the user experience for advertising across Yelp. The engineers on this team work cross-platform to develop new, high-quality, and diverse ad formats that provide engaging ad products for advertisers, users, and Yelp. The work of this team has a direct impact on Yelp's business and revenue.

What you'll do:

Lead, coach and mentor a team of engineers of all experience levels and develop the overall ability of the team.
Keep the team motivated and productive by removing obstacles and optimizing team processes.
Partner closely with engineering and product teams as well as members of Yelp's executive team to deliver revenue growth.
Collaborate with the team to craft a vision, set a roadmap/milestones and drive the team's success.
Foster and build a fun, diverse, and inclusive culture that reflects Yelp's values.

What it takes to succeed:

Previous experience as a people-focused/people-first manager.
Ability to think strategically, balancing near term product benefits with longer term platform investments.
Comfortable in your favorite modern programming language: Javascript, Python, Java, Objective-C, Swift, C++, etc.

What you'll get:

Compensation range is $165,000-280,000 annually. Depending on your role and level, you may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
This opportunity has the option to be fully remote in locations within Canada's Eastern time zones.
