    This position would be onsite in the Windsor, Ontario region.

    Here's a wonderful Brand Manager opportunity to join this well-branded and respected consumer products firm in the Windsor, Ontario area.

    Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Brand Marketing Manager will help to lead Marketing and Brand, including strategic development and execution of the marketing plan, budget management, and advertising tactics to deliver short and long-term financial targets that support corporate objectives. He/she will create the strategy, develop plans, produce, execute, and measure best-in-class trade and consumer marketing.

    The Brand Marketing Manager will develop & execute a winning Marketing strategy, commercialization plans and programs to drive brand awareness, brand equity, market share, consumer conversion and sales growth. The Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate across multi-functional stakeholder groups to develop, align and execute the Marketing plans while remaining flexible to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

    What you should expect:

    • Lead annual planning process, collaborating cross-functionally to develop the plan and budget that delivers business objectives. Then gain internal alignment and communicate the plan to key stakeholders.
    • Work with Sales and customer teams to develop and execute effective customized Shopper Marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop integrated communication programs
    • Manage social media platforms, working with agency partner to develop marketing campaigns and relevant content to reach our target audiences and drive business results.
    • Working with cross-functional teams, Act as the tactical lead for all major brand initiatives including new product launches, product/packaging re-stages, consumer promotions, etc..
    • Work with Sales and customer teams to develop and execute effective customized Shopper Marketing campaigns.
    • Develop strong external vendor/supplier relationships to ensure best-in-class creative development & execution.
    • Be a strong brand guardian both internally across the organization and externally, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
    • Manage Brand Marketing budget and provide quarterly financial updates.
    • Develop and communicate written briefs for use by internal/external agencies or suppliers (e.g., creative, advertising, packaging, product development, media, consumer promotions, merchandising, etc.) to direct their work activities to generate concepts for the effective execution of marketing programs and objectives.

    What you should bring:

    • Demonstrated experience in brand management, marketing and developing branded programs & promotions that drove business results
    • Proven understanding of brand marketing fundamentals
    • Proven strategic, annual brand planning & budgeting experience
    • Strategic big picture and tactical thinker
    • Personable, able to adjust the personal style to work well with a variety of different personality types & skill sets
    • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced work environment
    • High collaboration orientation & ability to lead cross-functional teams & motivate others
    • Curious. Externally focused on consumer & customer needs while also internally focused on developing strong relationships.
    • Strong communication skills & the ability to engage & influence key stakeholders at all levels
    • Ability to make sound business decisions rooted in consumer/customer insight, strong strategic, analytical, creative thinking & problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple large projects simultaneously with strong project management experience
    • Strong presentation skills

    Education and Experience:

    • Undergraduate degree or comparable post-secondary education in Marketing or Business with a focus on Marketing
    • MBA an asset
