    Description

    The Dean's Office administrative support team provides reception, confidential secretarial and administrative services to support the functioning of the office.

    Reporting to the Director, Faculty Affairs, the Administrative Assistant provides senior, confidential secretarial and administrative services to the Dean and Associate Deans of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS).

    screens in-person, email, and telephone inquiries; coordinates expense reports and credit card claims; and completes various administrative requests for the Dean, the Associate Deans, and the supervisor.

    High school graduation and one years of post-secondary education or formal program equivalent including courses or training in secretarial practices.

    Excellent knowledge of office procedures
    Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications (i.e., Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro) at an intermediate level.
