MY BLURB I've seen three episodes of this series so
far, and from what | have seen, it very much appears
10 be trying almost too hard to be a lot of different
things And in its own, shghtly confused way, it 1s
succeeding
The story 1s all about this woman named Queen
Sono, whose mother was a bigt time political activist,
who was killed Queen was a teenager Now she’s
working for the South African intelligence agency
and has become this crackerjack spy lady with all the
requisite deadly skills and 1s trying to find out who
PR Laat
In this season, Queen 1s working to bring down a
Russian babe who 1s trying to take over pretty much
all of Africa to explort ts wealth
This show also makes frequent references to blacks
taking back their power There's even this odd reve-
lutionary militia that's trying to get the population
to wise up to all the ways they are being exploited
Allin all, this 1s not a terrible series It's a bit mud-

interesting, and it's always nice to see what people in
other parts of the world are putting on the tube
