MISDIRECTED ANGER,
THE NEW CONSERVATIVE OBSESSION

I find it mildly amusing that, decidedly anti-Demo-
cratic Americans bitch and complain loudly about
how their government is fleecing them with high

gas and food prices.

These people seem to have forgotten, or maybe
never really understood, that they are living in

a capitalist society, where corporations, and the
world commodity markets, not governments, set
the prices for things like gas and heating oil and
many food products.

This abject ignorance is the kind of thing that
screws countries up big time. And America, sadly
has fallen prey to this ignorance, strongly sup-
ported by right wing politicians and others who
only want to destroy the current government and
are willing to lie and cheat and spread all kinds of
mis-information to get what they want.

A lot of people in the US really need to smarten
up and realize that they are being bullshitted, and
should spend a little time trying to figure things
out before they open their pie holes, with their half
baked conspiracy theories and right wing generat-
ed talking points.

Because the other more than half of the country
look at this stuff and just shake their heads,
dismayed at gullible people they are sharing a
country with.

PS: This kind of ignorance, which is most promi-

nent in the US, is everywhere these days, even in
my country, which has a lot of cultural similarities

with the US.
