Take Your Politics & Shove It A lot of people think I'm ag Liberal. This is because I de- fend them a lot. But I only do that because they at least seem to be trying do get good stuff done. This is the same reason I defend the Democrats in the US. Fact is that I don’t give a shit about politics. And I never really have. I mean, what is there to really care about? Leadership? Find me a good one and I'll write a blog about them. Decisiveness? Come on! The political world has redefined the concept of forever. Corruption? Now you're starting to get close. The reality is that we live in a capitalist society and we, as well as our politicians, are controlled by the ebb and flow of business. The world is slowly discovering that the front line in the fight against killer issues like climate change and global warming is all in the private business sector. Politics is not worth a shit in this fight and every day that goes by without real legislation to shrink the fossil fuel industry just shows you that only a few govern- ments world-wide have made any effort at all. That's because politics is bullshit. The real difference makers in the fight to get the climate under control are the green entrepreneurs and the investment companies who finance them. Yep it’s the big, new corporate sector that’s going to save our sorry asses in the long run. Not some ass-hats in Ottawa, or DC.
