THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY AND ALL THAT JAZZ.
There was a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport a while ago. It is being blamed on a group called Isis-K, which evidently is a sworn enemy of the Taliban. And that's just peachy. What's the matter with these terrorists...whatever happened to the old 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend?' This should really give everyone a clear picture of the madness the US and its allies are up against. Then again, anyone who believed that evacuating a country that filled up with radicalized Muslim extremists would be easy has to be dreaming. This withdrawal was ill-conceived, by the [previous administration, hastily executed by this one and will go on for quite a while. And yes, more people will die. It's a damn war and it ain't quite over yet. That's what happens.
