![Woke... What It Really Means
Being woke 1s something | have been accused of several times 1 find it odd
that it’s an accusation. especully when you consider the modern definition
of woke

that tell you all about what things really mean

Now it should be pretty clear that n the greater left wng/right wang
scheme of things, woke 1s really on the side of socal justice. and therefore

The trouble 1s that conservatives have weaponized the idea of woke to
label those who are actually fighting oppression as the oppressors
Ask any gun totn’ right wang American patriot what woke 1s and he wall
most likely refer to 1s as some movement to take his guns away Which
if you go back and read the definition again, 1s an absurdity. that has been
planted in his head by the night wing meda and politicans
In short. the night has turned ‘woke™ mito just another four letter word, and
the fact that so many people are willing to beheve that, speaks volumes to
the power of the nght wang influence machmery and politicians
In the broader sense. woke can be taken to mean a philosophical stance
against all forms of oppression And at the end of the day. the dea of
wanting to ehminate things lke racal prejudice. hate. anti-semitism. poverty
or any other form of social injustice. 1s not a bad thing
The bad thing is the willingness to embrace ‘wokeness in people as some
sort of character flaw, when it actually just means that these people are
acutely aware and concerned with helping to right what 1s wrong in society
Wanting the opposite of that, n a so called free society. is probably the
most common form of oppression that woke people have to deal with
Fortunately in Ameria, there are more woke people than there are the
opposite And that simple fact 1s the only thing that keeps the country from
