The Sunday Sermon

All The Things We Have Forgotten

I'look at the world
Through my window
And so much that I see

Is not right
I see too many
Who live their lives
Hopelessly trapped inside
In a cold dark night

I see the fire and fear
And anger
I see too many
Over-influenced minds
I hear cries of bloody
Revolution
And I wonder what
They're hoping to find

Because I look at this life
And its miracle
And see each new day
As a gift beyond measure
And my heart goes out
T'o those poor tortured souls
Who have lost
What they used to treasure

And all the things
We have forgotten
Are all the things
should never forget
I'hey are all bundled
Deep inside us
And tied up tight
With strings of regret

And the ones
Whe are willing
To cut those strings
Are the ones who will surely find
That recalling all the things
We have forgotten
Is the key that
Unlocks the mind
