See this guy?
Governor of Florida with aspirations of becoming the same kind of emperor that Trump wanted to be never will. In a lot of ways, this guy is much more dangerous than Trump ever will be. Because, unlike Trump, who is evil, totally self-obsessed and kinda stupid, this guy is evil, racist, hateful and a lot smarter. Trouble is the Republican party and all its fanatical faithful have screwed true conservatism into the ground, so the more lunacy you spout the more popular appeal you have. Looking at it from the country next door, this very much appears to be a plague of insanity coupled with a healthy dose of apathy. It feels like all this nonsense is taking the country to a very dark place. And if this guy ever makes it all the way to the White House, you can be damn sure that’s what will happen.
