    Job Description

    We are looking for a Business Partner / Project Manager with Information Technology professional experience with both business strategy development and related technology solutions to help us keep growing across Canada. The Business Partner / Project Manager will thrive on complex and high stakes challenges. They will also manage projects and deliver initiatives aligned with the Canada Digital Roadmap. The incumbent must be determined to succeed by driving delivery of end-to-end IT solutions.

    Primary Duties:

    1. Engage the business client early and effectively, building solid relationships and pushing DB&T value upstream as key business direction is being set;
    2. Develop and manage direct relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the business solutions are aligned with their goals and priorities, and how process automation through DB&T solutions will help them reach their goals;
    3. Manage the delivery of business cases, project charter, risk assessment, project status, rollout communications and other documents;
    4. Seek out systems solutions (either internal to client or external 3rd party solutions) that can be leveraged to meet business requirements;
    5. Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to deliver solutions that meet the stakeholders' priorities within budgetary and product requirements;
    6. Budget management – Define and gain agreement on project budgets, ensure projects track to the budget;
    7. Execute on project plans and assist others in executing on project plans across the various groups;
    8. Makes scope/schedule/resources (including budget) trade-off decisions with little or no guidance;
    9. Ensure that line of business priorities and DB&T capabilities (technology and resources) are aligned;
    10. Demonstrate a sound understanding of how the overall business solution is positioned, deployed and supported globally;
    11. Enhance or improve the customer experience on a continuous basis. Provide excellent customer service. Build and leverage relationships with management, key business stakeholders, and external organizations
    12. Offer Innovative Awareness, Review demand, projects, tasks, and deliverables frequently, and change priorities or scope in coordination with ever-changing customer needs.
    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in administration or computer science or a related field;
    • 9+ years experience as a business analyst (IT), experience in project management, customer experience & business analysis;
    • PMP certification (An Asset);
    • Agile certification (An Asset);
    • Business Relationship management certification (An Asset);
    • Main skills:
      • Experience with ERP systems; Knowledge of "Quote-to-Cash" processes;
      • Experience in project management - Experience managing/overseeing the transformational project from inception to completion;
      • Experience in technology such as Smartsheet, Looker Studio, PowerBI (An Asset);
      • Knowledge of Google Apps;
      • Experience in Agile projects
    • Key behavioral skills:
      • Ability to build trust at all levels : listen & empower every stakeholders, business counterparts, teams members and outside partners and providers
      • Able to work independently and as part of a team as a project leader;
      • Strong Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service skills and behaviors;
      • Demonstrate empathy and soft skills;
      • Excellent managerial and people management skills;
      • Demonstrate delivery mindset;
      • Thorough knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and differing variations;
      • Proficient in Google Workplace or related software;
      • Ability to take a decision and mobilize adapted resources to contribute to decision making if needed;
      • Ability to have strong time management, ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines;
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
      • Bilingualism (French/English).
