- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, including processing and monitoring invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests. resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise
- Supervising and training Accounts Payable team, providing guidance and technical support. May delegate daily work assignments based on own knowledge of department priorities.
- Oversee the processing and distribution of payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all invoices are accurately coded, approved, and processed in a timely manner, Working with Shared Service for issues and/or discrepancies.
- Analyze accounts payable reports, ensure reconciliations (GL/SL, RBNI; Vendor Statements and etc.) on regular basis with timely manner.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures for payable function for continuous improvement.
- Being tactful and diplomatic when work with internal /external stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries or issues.
- Manage the team with clear communication with preset goals and coaching, conducting annual performance review.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in payable and 2 years in supervisory role
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate and communicate AP information clearly and precisely
- Team player demonstrating effective and cooperative working relationships with all employees at various level.
- AS400 and DataServ experience an asset.
- College Diploma with a concentration in accounting or business administration
