What you'll do

Spearhead the maintenance and creation of SAP Master Data, including cost center, profit center hierarchies, and revenue reporting tables

Collaborate with business unit finance leads to understand and address reporting and planning needs effectively

Analyze and implement setup for new acquisitions in SAP, assessing impacts on master data and Hyperion, and reporting any issues to management

Manage TELUS Staff Count and FTE (full time equivalent) reporting by Business Unit for ELT Reporting

Provide comprehensive Budget and Monthly Triage Support, offering reporting, documentation, user assistance, and training to business unit finance leads

Coordinate Budget/Triage/Target Transfers and Prior Year Realignments, ensuring smooth processes

Oversee SLR (standard labour rates) load processes and controls to maintain data accuracy

Support the requirements of the new Beluga project for upgrading SAP, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with organizational goals

Mentor and train junior analysts within the teamAssist with ad-hoc planning and reporting requirements as needed

Identify and implement complex process improvement opportunities

Support planning website, budget processes, and timelines, coordinating budget documentation

Collaborate with planning tool experts to streamline processes and drive new developments

Engage with SOX and external auditors on planning processes and controls, including the annual SLR audit

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on intercompany transactions, eliminations, benefits processes, KPI support, and restatements, as well as overall management reporting and revenue/COGS reportingProvide expertise on SAP and BW (business warehouse), participating in upgrade projects and troubleshooting ad-hoc issues

Ensure consistency in management reporting across SAP, BW, and Hyperion platforms

What you bring

Possess 7-10 years of relevant analytical experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role within a large, complex, and dynamic organization

Demonstrate expertise in SAP management reporting

Exhibit strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and presentation

Familiarity with SAP management reporting and planning processes

Hold a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)

Display a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset

Showcase exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels

Thrive in a cross-functional team environment, respecting diverse perspectives and collaborating effectively

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including task scoping, goal setting, scheduling, prioritization, and problem anticipation

Take ownership of responsibilities, make prompt decisions and adeptly solve problems
