- Ability to use specialized software applications (i.e. TES) where accuracy and attention to detail are required
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and effectively apply time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills that will help to provide the requested data to theinternal and external clients, including consultants, universities, engineering firms, other government agencies via email and telephone.

JOB SUMMARY
The Transportation Data Collection & Analytics unit is responsible for the implementation of Traffic Safety and Mobility systems for public enquiry and data management; plans, drafts and implements amendments to Traffic and Parking By-laws; and ensures the availability of information and statistics.
You support the Transportation Data Collection Program by validating, importing, disseminating and troubleshooting all collected data, including but not limited to the following: collision, speed, volume and classifation.
You also communicate with internal and external clients via email and phone, discuss data requests, clarify location, provide cost estimates and explain data collection processes and methodologies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of 1 year community college certificate in computer science or engineering related field
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in data administration, including experience in the transportation field
Desirable Qualifications:
Successful completion of Ontario Traffic Conference's Traffic Training Course is desired or willingness to complete
