    Description

    Joining us as a Project Manager in the Technology department, you will:

    • Efficiently follow Plan Group's project management procedures from project kickoff to completion (project schedule, change orders, as-built drawings, close out documents, etc.)
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project execution is timely and efficient, while upholding design integrity and project schedule.
    • Implement risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle to mitigate both known and unforeseen risks and their impacts.
    • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure project feasibility and cost align with the budget.
    • Foster relationships with project partners and clients to propose innovative solutions that meet project budget compliance.
    • Supervise project delivery resources, including employees and subcontractors.
    • Regularly update relevant stakeholders on the project's technical aspects and site activities to ensure informed decision-making.
    • Engage with consulting engineers to review and provide input on design implementation and reports
    • Adhere to all safety requirements set by clients and comply with Plan Group's safety protocols.
    • Contribute to technical proposals and collaborate with team members in developing RFQ/RFP submissions and other tender documents for major transportation projects.
    • Monitor project performance, and provide status reports and necessary escalations.

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of various construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Exposure to information technology, structured cabling, and building systems would be advantageous
    • Relevant post-secondary education; preferably a university degree in engineering
    • Familiarity with Accubid software and/or Estimating experience is a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, computer literate. Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is preferred
    • Possession of or working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent is beneficial
