    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is integral to the success of the People Strategy team, and to CAAT's guiding mission and growth strategy. Under the direction of the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides recruitment and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team while ensuring an excellent candidate and client experience. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is instrumental in supporting the student co-op program recruitment process and manages the overall student experience within the organization.

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on hiring co-op students in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Strong understanding of co-op programs, university recruiting, and campus engagement strategies.
    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate:

    • Exceptional abilities in candidate and client service, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience attracting co-op candidates and ensuring a seamless experience.
    • Proficiency with calendar management and scheduling; organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Effective collaboration with hiring managers and team members to understand hiring needs and requirements.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines with sound judgment.
    • An ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

    Once here you will:

    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment activities for the co-op program, including coordinating onboarding, serving as the primary contact for students, and organizing events to enhance learning and networking opportunities.
    • Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to understand the staffing needs and develop recruitment plans for co-op positions.
    • Assist in creating job postings, screening applications, ensuring alignment with job requirements, and conducting phone screen interviews to evaluate candidate suitability.
    • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, student organizations, and career centers to enhance our visibility and attract top talent.
    • Collaborate in creating comprehensive interview guides to ensure a standardized and effective assessment of candidates.
    • Efficiently coordinate virtual and in-person interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience and facilitating a seamless interview process.
    • Draft offer letters, conduct background and reference checks, and deliver a great onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Actively promote CAAT's employer value proposition to enhance brand awareness. Continuously explore opportunities to streamline the recruitment process and make recommendations for improvement.
