    We are looking for a Court case Coordinator to work in our Community Services & Court Support program. This is a union position that will provide support on a Permanent Full-time basis. Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.

    The Court Case Coordinator's focus is to support clients who are experiencing family violence and abuse with information about the court process and resources that they can access to support in the decision-making process.

    The Court Case Coordinator will provide support, assistance, and information in understanding and completing an order, the procedure for filing an order and safety planning for attending court.

    As a Court Case Coordinator, you will not only act on behalf of your client, but in your role, you will contribute to your team by consulting and working with staff and volunteers to facilitate the integration of all programs which clients may participate in, including child support, community, and other programs.

    Completes and submits all client feedback surveys in a timely manner. Attend the Community Services Counselling and Court Program team meetings, supervisions, and case consultations.
    Bachelor of Arts Criminology and Justice Studies. An equivalent combination of education and experience with Court systems may be considered.
    Knowledge and experience of the Response Based Practice is an asset.
    A second language would be an asset.

    Takes personal responsibility in the delivery of ethical client care that is sensitive to individual and cultural diversity, establishes engagement, invites and integrates client feedback, honors the client's experience and recognizes the client's expertise.


    Initiative and Networking:
    Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
    Effective January 1st, 2022 being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is a condition of employment.
    In accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
