    ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY

    The Ottawa Region's Utility Division is in need of a full-time Project Coordinator who is detail oriented and result focused. The Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers on construction projects, reporting to the Operations Manager.

    Duties and responsibilities include:

    • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring performance standards align with company policy and contract specifications
    • Aid in construction scheduling and monitoring progress
    • Support budget analysis and prepare progress reports for clients
    • Coordinate with trades and subcontractors
    • Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
    • Coordinate various project documents and control records
    • Procure necessary supplies and materials
    • Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Engineering Degree or Diploma preferred

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 1-3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry

    SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • Motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
    • Planning and scheduling proficiency
