    RoleOverview

    As a Senior SR&EDConsultant focused on clients specializing in InformationTechnology, STEM and Sciences. At ABGi Canada, you will bringstrong technical skills on a team of other STEM backgrounds andwork in a collaborative team setting to identify and substantiateR&D tax credit claims for clients across Canada. ABGiCanada has worked with hundreds of clients in the architecture,engineering, software, biomedical sciences, oil and gas,manufacturing, apparel, brewing, aerospace, and agricultureindustries. This role will be remote, but have theopportunity to work with teams in Montreal andOntario.

    A Day InThe Life


    • Through interactionswith clients and the ABGI Conseil Mission Management, identifyactivities eligible for the SR&ED tax credit and developthe structure of the claims ;


    •Identify theexpenses related to these activities that are eligible for theSR&ED tax credit and/or government grants and subsidies;


    •Drafting the SR&ED claims or grantsand subsidies to be submitted to the tax authorities, incollaboration with the client and under the supervision of the ABGIConseil project manager ;


    •Document the claimsusing the relevant forms and technical reports to support thework


    •Assist clients in the Canada RevenueAgency (CRA) audit process ;


    •Participate ininternational collaborations with other subsidiaries of the group(USA; UK, France,Brazil).

    Requirements

    • Minimum of an advanced Masters degree or higher in aSTEM or related field from an accredited university
    • Minimum of one to five years of experience as aSR&ED consultant within a professional servicesorganization
    • Knowledge of the SR&EDprogram and other government incentives
    • Ability to understand the technological issues and toexpress them clearly in order to valorize the elements eligible tothe SR&ED program and relevant
    • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, inFrench and English
    • Ability to conducttechnical interviews with specialists in several technologicalfields
    • Excellent project managementskills.
