    Job Description

    The Senior Manager, Brand Strategy, will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Marketing Director, Brand Strategy, at Canada Goose. Tasked with driving the development and execution of world-class brand positioning, this role will contribute to evolving Canada Goose's mission of keeping the planet cold and the people warm.

    Operating with a keen eye for insights and a strong desire to explore new possibilities, the Senior Manager will help foster widespread brand admiration globally. This position entails active participation with cross-functional teams and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to uphold the brand's long-term strategy. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will be instrumental in integrating brand strategy across different business functions and analyzing insights to refine Canada Goose's market position.

    This role requires a blend of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and analytical acumen. The ideal candidate will prioritize understanding of Canada Goose's consumers and possess the ability to translate overarching vision into actionable initiatives that propel the brand forward.

    About The Role:

  • Own the implementation of the 3-year global marketing strategic roadmap, working closely with cross-functional business units to translate commercial insights, merchandising strategies, and fiscal objectives into actionable plans
  • Lead efforts to refine the brand identity, overseeing briefings with external agencies and ensuring alignment with the broader business framework to maintain consistency, enhance brand education, and foster a unified vision for the Canada Goose brand
  • Assist in leading the annual global marketing planning process, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and priorities
  • Collaborate with creative, regional, and cross-functional teams to develop seasonal strategies and briefings that enhance brand affinity, drive customer acquisition, and maximize profitability
  • Be an active participant in GTM planning representing marketing in long-term planning
  • Work closely with external creative agency partners, internal creative production teams, and cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance on content development and execution
  • Offer insights and guidance on product calendar and assortment priorities as part of the Integrated Calendar process
  • Collaborate with Insights and Digital Channel Marketing teams to develop and implement a marketing effectiveness framework, monitor seasonal brand health and category performance against predefined objectives and targets
  • Act as a coach and mentor to team members, fostering their professional development and driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of market trends, business results, and competitive landscape, leveraging consumer insights to inform actionable strategies and initiatives
  • About You:

  • 6+ years marketing expertise, preferably for a global organization
  • Brand marketing experience considered an asset
  • Strong financial management, data analysis, and reporting background
  • Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management experience across commercial functions
  • Proven record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results
  • Superior computer skills, especially MS Office, Excel (pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint
  • Ideally has experience in the entertainment, fashion or apparel industry or with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Highly analytical and ability to turn consumer and business insight into action
  • Leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills
  • Strong agency leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with external partners throughout all phases of projects.
  • Solution oriented with a focus on delivering a consumer centric approach
  • Knowledge of brand planning, budgeting, business analysis, advertising, promotions merchandising, research and analysis
  • Ability to effectively communicate and bring people together
  • Constantly curious and always challenging the status quo
  • Have finger on the pulse of global trends in both luxury & fast fashion and have as strong passion for culture, popular culture, and women's culture
  • Think social first - deep understanding of the Tik Tok/Instagram generation
  • Must have a global POV and be able to think outside the box
