    Description

    Job Description:
    Photonics Engineer

    • Excellent planning, problem solving, and communication experience.
    • Direct the design and development of new products and components.
    • Competent with 3D modeling applications like Solid Works, Autodesk Fusion, and AutoCAD.
    • Experience in lab testing, evaluating, and integrating electronic components with software expertise is a plus.
    • A basic understanding of 3D printing and laser engraving will be advantageous.
    • A working knowledge of electronic/mechanical design, assembly drawings, and bills of materials would be advantageous.
    Responsibilities

    • Conducting and desiring product testing
    • Evaluating the practicability of product design, testing, and reexamining the products and instruments as needed.
    Qualifications

    • Diploma/Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Photonic Engineering, or a related subject.
    • Possessing an exceptional understanding of sensors, optical components, and 3D modeling is advantageous.
    • Due to the nature of the position and applicable restrictions, Canadian citizens and permanent residents are strongly urged to apply.

    From $18.00 per hour

    Education:
    AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
