    Building Envelope Materials Distributor
    Join our client, a leading provider of Building Envelope materials, at their Burnaby location.

    Renowned for its commitment to excellence and growth within the construction market in British Columbia, our client seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to contribute to their continued success.

    As the Assistant Branch Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the branch's day-to-day operations, nurturing team collaboration, and contributing to strategic business development.

    Support the oversight of daily branch operations, including management of warehouse, inside sales, and outside sales teams.
    Collaborate with the Branch Manager to execute strategies aimed at achieving business growth targets.
    Contribute to analytical thinking and assist in developing strategies to optimize branch performance.
    Previous management experience, preferably in a unionized environment.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required for effective task delegation, follow-up, performance monitoring, feedback provision, and accountability.

    Strong leadership and communication skills to direct and motivate store staff and handle customer complaints.
    Technical competencies in financial report reading and data analysis.
    Sound knowledge of lumber, building materials, and the construction industry.
    This role serves as a stepping stone for career advancement and personal development.
