    ROLE SUMMARY:

    Oversees and monitor IT vendors with the development, maintenance, and delivery of IT Service Desk, End User Computing (EUC), Service Management, Infrastructure, and Applications support services to enable the delivery of secure, predictable, stable and available IT services to AWC at all times. Manages the Field Services work and any other support provided internally.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors vendor adherence to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Monitors the day to day operational and support activities of the application operating environment and critical business infrastructure to ensure the vendor(s) are complying to agreed service levels.
  • Monitors the ITSM tool and provides ITSM reporting to internal IT client base.
  • Support IT service levels and will develop a continuous improvement culture within the IT team and their Managed Services Partners.
  • Work with IT Leaders to develop IT Key Performance Indicators and measures of IT Value and associated targets.
  • Leads IT asset management program to maintain contractual compliance, manage asset currency and avoid reduction in services.
  • Manages operational and project planning requirements to monitor internal resource allocation, schedule new services and identify vendor support required to deliver high quality customer service.
  • Provide project management expertise and leadership for assigned IT projects and programs.
  • Leads and manages the deployment of end-user computing device refresh strategies to maintain currency and reliability of desktop devices.
  • Leads the transition activities from an IT Operations perspective for all development moving to production and liaises with the vendor(s) for the transition of new development into managed services.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technology-driven business solutions and systems.
  • Support spending analysis and reporting against IT Plan
  • Budget responsibility for yearly OPEX ~$300K and Capex ~$600K
  • Strategic spend planning for 3–5-year plan.
  • Leads development of local disaster recovery and business continuity plans in conjunction with business partners, security and solution delivery staff and oversees regular and ad hoc testing.
  • Engages in emergency troubleshooting of IT services in collaboration with service providers and update runbooks to prevent future failures.
  • As a member of the organization's critical response team, ensure 24x7 availability for support.

    • WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 9-10 years' experience managing a vendor providing corporate network operations and administration, infrastructure and application operations in a service delivery environment, corporate IT help desk and support services.
  • Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundations
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 an asset
  • Completion of a degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent

    • COMPENSATION : Budgeted Range – ($111,460.00 – $144, The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
