    Randstad Staffing is currently looking for Accountants to join some of Winnipeg's top firms and companies

    This is a 3-month term position.

    Do you have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant (public or private practice)? Are you familiar with the full cycle of accounting and enjoy working with numbers?
    Do you have superior analytical skills and work well independently but also as part of a team?

    Responsibilities
    -Prepares monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
    -Helps with external financial reporting on investments, including statements, regulatory and tax reporting, and rating agency communication.
    -Checks investment transactions in accounting software.
    -Addresses settlement issues, liaising with internal teams and external contacts.
    -Aids in testing new accounting systems.
    -Completes assigned tasks and projects.

    Qualifications
    -Completed post-secondary education.
    -Enrollment in CPA or CFA program is an asset.
    -Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
    -Attention to detail demonstrated.
    -Proficient in MS Excel.
    -Strong team player.
