    Purchasing/Inside Metals Commodity Expert Greater Toronto Area, Ontario

    Are you a seasoned professional in the field of commodities, finance, and operations, seeking an exciting opportunity in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario? Our client is actively searching for a Purchasing/Inside Metals Commodity Expert to join their dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be at the forefront of leveraging your comprehensive knowledge to enhance decision-making processes related to inventory management, procurement, and supply chain optimization.

    If you possess expertise in market analysis, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, and a proven track record in managing the quoting process, we invite you to explore this challenging and rewarding position with us.

    Leverage comprehensive knowledge of commodities (hard and soft) and drawing from experience relating to both finance and operations.
    Apply specialized insights to enhance decision-making related to inventory management, procurement, and supply chain optimization.

    Inventory Right Sizing, Min Max, etc:
    ~ Implement sophisticated inventory management strategies, including right-sizing inventory levels and establishing optimal minimum and maximum thresholds.

    Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical drawings relevant to commodities and logistics.

    Navigate and comprehend technical documentation related to commodity specifications and logistics processes.

    Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with demonstrated drawing experience.
    ~ Established rolodex and successful purchasing experience from China, Indonesia, Dubai, and India.

    ~ Other qualities:

    Comfortable wearing multiple hats, actively participating in various aspects of the business, reflecting a startup-like mentality.
    Willingness to take calculated risks and a results-driven mindset.
    Eligible for an annual performance bonus
