    Description

    Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Operations and Maintenance Manager is responsible for assisting with O&M agreements, negotiating Scope of Work with clients, establishing strong rapport with clients/ customers through reviewing meetings and liaising with client asset managers, scheduling, and dispatching technicians, supporting appropriate billing, maintaining work databases and coordinating materials, equipment, and rentals for service work.

    AccountabilityOperations/ Scheduling/ SafetySupervise the creation of work orders and dispatch electricians / techniciansManage O&M team schedule to book emergency service calls and planned maintenance visits.

    Track and report time and material costs for analysis and invoicingEnsure safety policy and procedures are adhered to the highest standard.

    Client/ Customer Service/ Relationship BuildingCompile and submit Service and Maintenance Reports to clientsLiaise with client asset managers and internal team to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services.

    Risk Analysis/ AdministrationEnsure that all work is performed to satisfy contractual obligations set out in various O&M agreementsClosely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party contractors, consultants and other specialists.

    Assist the accounting team in O&M service invoicingMaintain database of site information and historical work performed.
    Continually analyze potential risks and production issues in order to mitigate or eliminate them.
    Critical Response/ Problem ResolutionReview PV system monitoring portal for alarms and triage common issues.
    Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and associate work.

    GeneralAttend meetings and training, as required by the department and PESCAOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:

    Scope:
    Budget, employees direct and indirect and other resources managed.
    • Reporting into the VP of Operations, manage the scheduling and operations of Maintenance Contracts
    • Responsible for scheduling and directing the work of Electricians and Technicians
    • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving concerns with Electricians and Technicians
    • Responsible for ensuring the correct pricing and billing to clients/ customers.
    • Responsible for building rapport with clients/ customers through communication, problem resolutions and establishment of SOWs
    • Responsible for establishing and maintaining supplier relationsEducation & Experience:
    • Bachelor of Engineering / Maters degree preferred.
    • Management Experience
    • Experience scoping projects, scheduling and coordinating work
    • Must have a good understanding of Solar PV systems and electrical code in Ontario.

    The Account Manager builds strategic partnerships with accounts by better understanding the accounts business and aligning PCI services to meet customer needs.

    The Account Manager is responsible for managing all sales activities between PCI and accounts to ensure the sales plan forecast, budgets, profit, inventory are consistent with the business plan.

    Maintains and monitors account credit/debit charges relating to customer accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures. Designs and develops high quality and secured desktop, web, mobile and cloud applications on various platforms. Identifies and resolves bugs and issues on local and productions systems. Keeps up to date with latest technologies, hardware and software applications, and company product and service offerings.
