    Express Scripts Canada seeks to hire Manager, Corporate & Public Sector Wintel Platforms. The role will join the technology group to manage an infrastructure operations team of both full time and occasional contract resources. This role will also be required to manage large and complex infrastructure projects from initiation through to close out. The role works collaboratively with business stakeholders, application development teams, vendors, technical resources and external customers to deliver reliable, consistent and customer focused solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and Manage the Corporate team of full time and occasional contractor resources.
    • Assist Sr. Manager with Budgeting and forecasting project resources
    • Assist Sr. Manager with Budgeting and forecasting operational expenses & project non-labour spend
    • Manage the process related to the identification, assessment, prioritization, and staffing of operational requests for development. This includes the application of ITIL best practices in the process of incident management, problem management, change management, and release management
    • Working collaboratively with other departments within Express Scripts Canada and Cigna Global to provide IS operational and technical subject matter in support of strategic initiatives. This can involve occasionally meeting/speaking directly with customers
    • Manage projects with strategic impact on Express Scripts Canada; ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and quality targets
    • Providing expertise and technical direction for the team
    • Develop and maintain efficient processes, documentation and monitoring standards to ensure availability and resiliency in a 24x7x365 operating environment
    • Responsible for developing project plans, project estimates and negotiating project resources
    • Efficiently communicate to stakeholders to manage expectations, project progress and current issues

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with managing & maintaining enterprise wintel platforms
    • Minimum 3 years of management and leadership experience
    • Experience in the following technologies: Microsoft Active Directory & AzureAD, DNS, Exchange, SharePoint, Terminal Server, IIS, SQL and other related Microsoft technologies; Captaris RightFAX; IPSwitch Move-It; XMedius Fax; AWS; VMWare; D365; Veeam
    • Experience/knowledge of standards, structures and compliance to NIST/ISO security standards and methodologies .

    • Ability to motivate and provide leadership and mentoring to employees in an agile environment, and create a culture that supports high employee morale.
    • Mentor individuals to maximize their strengths while raising awareness on opportunities
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines, limited travel and on-call rotation.
    • 3-5 Project management experience and proven ability to prioritize work and meet work commitments.
    • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
    • Strong customer service focus, adaptable, flexible and willing to learn.
    • Self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment and make independent decisions.
    • Strong communication, presentation and listening skills.
