    INTERMEDIATE COPYWRITER | Full time, permanent
    Mandatory in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
    Remote optional days are on Wednesday and Thursday

    A Copywriter at Tiller contributes to our success by writing clear, concise, and compelling copy for B2B SaaS clients.

    Your words will inform and engage target audiences and help clients achieve specific business objectives. Our ideal candidate has direct experience writing for the B2B software industry.

    If you like to work in a fast-paced environment, can grasp project requirements quickly, and offer valuable insight, we'd like to meet you.

    Interpret project briefs to understand project requirements
    Conduct thorough and high-quality research and interviews
    Write clear, concise, and compelling long-form and short-form copy for various mediums (e.g. websites, blog posts, newsletters, ads, email campaigns, social media, etc.)
    Collaborate on website content strategy including sitemap development and wireframing
    Apply distinct brand voice, personality to client copy
    Apply SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
    Collaborate with account managers, project managers, brand strategists, designers, developers, and other creative professionals on large and small-scale projects
    Optimize web and landing page copy for conversion
    Are passionate about helping companies achieve their objectives
    Are highly creative and curious about technology and SaaS
    Have experience writing for a B2B audience
    Have a BSc/BA in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or related field
    Have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
    Are confident in building a rapport with clients and nurturing good working relationships
    Have the ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned projects and responsibilities
    Have experience with on-page SEO (e.g. incorporating keywords, writing metadata, etc.)

    We are a community of about 30 creative minds based in Calgary, AB and we work together to stay curious, raise our hands when we aren't sure about something, and do what's right - not what's easy.

    We have a beautiful SW Calgary office location that offers free parking, a gym, and comfortable, tech savvy meeting rooms and workstations.

    We work onsite to be intentional about optimizing collaboration and creativity on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (remote work is optional on Wednesdays and Thursdays).

    Our 2 kitchen cafes are stocked with really, really good coffee.

    The base salary range for this position will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

    Pay ranges at Tiller are reviewed annually against external data within the Alberta market to attract, retain, and motivate our incredible talent with a competitive total compensation package.

    Performance incentive bonus - everyone is eligible for one no matter what your role with us.
