    The Communication Program Consultant is responsible for coordinating, developing and implementing internal communication strategies and tactics such as videos, intranet content, employee emails, program updates, change communication collateral and internal presentations.

    Reporting to the Vice-President of Corporate Communications, you'll be responsible for:
    Developinginternal communications collateral including intranet content, program updates, employee emails, newsletters, presentations, etc for the Better Together program.
    Developingof internal videos including script writing, recording and editing video related to Better Together.
    Reviewinginternal communications by proofreading and editing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand and corporate standards.
    Writing, posting, and maintainingcontent on the corporate intranet related to Better Together projects.

    Workingwith Better Together project team and People Readiness team to coordinate, and tracking communications activities related to the program.

    Drivingroll-out of internal communications and engagement campaigns related to Better Together.
    Supportingthe maintenance of corporate communications' processes, templates, and tools.

    Ensuringconsistency and integrity of the OTIP group of companies' brands across internal communications, including assisting with the roll-out and maintenance of the corporate proofreading program.

    A university degree or college diploma in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related subject.
    Three to five years' experience in a communications-related role.
    Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, includingproficiency in the use of the Canadian Press style guide.
    Experience with content management and email marketing software.
    Experience with video creation and editing programs.
    Superior time-management, project-management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.

    Able to synthesize complex information, understand the needs and interests of target audiences, define and articulate messages and generate effective and compelling content for a variety of scenarios and platforms.

    Knowledge of the insurance industry and/or the Ontario educational system is considered an asset.
    The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
