    The Company
     The Company is an Alberta-based company that provides on-site mobile heat exchanger cleaning
    services to the major Oil and Gas Corporations, Municipal customers, and the manufacturing sector.
    The company has expanded its operation, facility, and field equipment to continue in its 7 th
    consecutive year of growth.
     We are looking to recruit individuals with experience working in the oil and gas services industry
    over to the chemical cleaning trade; we prefer to train and promote our processes and
    technologies are unique in our industry and we prefer to build our team from the ground up.
    Compensation (Wages and Benefits)
     Positions offer competitive wages, travel time, and overtime as applicable. Travel expenses via
    company credit card, and use of company vehicles are as required

    Required Experience

    • Preference given to CETs Chemical or possibly Petroleum.
    • 2 years oil and gas experience
    • Must have chemical cleaning background ≤5K Pressure Truck, or Hot Oiler.
    • The CET program is an excellent foundation that provides an understanding of chemical titration,
    mixing/blending, fluid dynamics, and chemical reactions. These are required for Leads.
     Heavy Industrial Chemical Cleaning is a relevant and fulfilling career for CETs Chemical or
    Petroleum as an alternative to laboratory work.
     We are looking for 2+ years of chemical cleaning experience individuals who can transition into
    lead roles following a 3-month probation period.
     Heavy Industrial Chemical Cleaning experience is the top priority. Individuals who
    understand how fluid moves within the system (heat exchanger/piping), how it may be
    affected by opening/closing valves, and how the chemical removes and suspends foulant.
     Experience washing (circulating in the heat exchanger) caustic/sodium-hydroxide with small
    amounts of surfactant and defoamer. Hydrochloric acid is used to neutralize the caustic. Higher-
    risk hydrofluoric acid jobs and sulfuric acid work are infrequent, but we do work with these
    chemicals as well.
    • Equipment experience: Low-pressure (LP) Unit / Chemical Cleaning Unit
    • 5K Pressure Truck (not high pressure)
    • Hot Oiler
    • Working knowledge of heat exchangers
    • Chemical calculations
    • Good mechanical instincts
    • Individuals with chemical / industrial cleaning experience, fluid haul, and performing industrial
    services to SAGD operations will be given preference.
     The physical demands of the role are moderate however there are lifting procedures for setup
    and teardown of jobs, some walking at client sites, but the work does not have the demands of
    the construction trades
     Driving to and from the site and at the site is essential; operators must have the ability to drive an F450-
    F550 or equivalent while pulling tandem and tri-axle trailers of up to 34 feet in length.
     Connecting to heat exchanger circuits, mixing prescribed chemicals within the cleaning systems
    and monitoring the cleaning equipment and gauges through the prescribed cleaning cycles

    Job Requirements
    • Flexible schedule, able to work out of town with 24 hours notice
    • Able to work shift work
    • Ability and willingness to follow safe work procedures at all times
    • Outdoor work in sometimes harsh weather conditions
    • Site safety – on and off-site, including diligent use of PPE at all times
    • Mechanically inclined
    • Must be hard-working and dependable
    • Must work well with others and be a team player
    • Must possess a resourceful and self-motivated attitude
    • This is a safety-sensitive position and the successful completion of a pre-access drug,
    alcohol and fitness screening is required

    Mandatory Certificates/Licenses
    • Valid Class 5 (Non-GDL) driver's license in good standing; a driver's abstract must be provided
    • Three (3) year Commercial Drivers Abstract (CDA) which includes any driving done for work or
    personal demonstrating a safe driving history with no major convictions and no more than three
    (3) minor convictions
