- Extract and assemble data from various sources (flat files, relational database and data warehouses) according to business logic of entity relationships
- Understand business requirements, determine relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and prepare visualization reports
- Wrangle and analyze large datasets to discover root causes, trends and patterns
- Propose, build, test and iteratively improve KPI models to answer complex business questions
- Analyze client performance metrics, in combination with market metrics and other public data, to recommend actionable opportunities.
- Lead data analysis design and discussions and gets buy-in among groups of stakeholders.
- Prepare insights presentations that communicate powerful business opportunities/results to clients
- Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reporting tools, reports, or dashboards
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to implement best practices in reporting and analytics: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service analytics
- Help design and implement data flow from Data Warehouses into Data Marts for efficient report development
- Using industry recognized tooling to solve for client and business operations data needs
- Proficiency in quantitative research and statistical/machine learning model productionizing
- Proven track record of building quantitative models that deliver insightful results to business stakeholders
- Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Strong orientation to detail
- Determination to achieve business outcomes for customers
- Client Relationship Management experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- 5-7 years experience in Report Development/Data Analysis
- Proven experience with Data Lake/Data Mart/Data Warehouse Best Practices
- Understanding and experience using GitHub for code management
- Strong working knowledge of Visual Studios SSIS/SSRS
- Knowledge of ETL processes and design
- Experience in BI related Tooling, including Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
