    Headquartered in Ottawa, Tradex Management Inc (Tradex) is a mutual fund management company and mutual fund dealer that operates on a not-for-profit basis. Created in 1960 by public servants for public servants, Tradex is open to all past and present public servants and their families. With over $450 million in assets under administration, Tradex manages three proprietary mutual funds, as well as offering an extensive range of financial products that include over 10,000 mutual funds in Canada, segregated funds, GICs, high-interest savings accounts, and life insurance. Tradex is regulated by the Ontario Securities Commission, the Autorité des marchés financiers (Quebec) and is also a member of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization.

With accountability to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer has an opportunity to take it to the next level of financial services and advice, while maintaining its unique corporate culture of collaboration, integrity, client focus and employee development.

    In this exciting and dual client facing opportunity, the CEO will demonstrate a strong belief and commitment to the Tradex mission and has a track record of success in leadership roles, ideally with experience in the public sector or the broader mutual fund advisory business. The ideal candidate can captivate the hearts and minds of a broad array of stakeholders, inspiring employees and engaging existing and new clients to drive organizational growth for the future.

    With an undergraduate degree, preferably in business or finance, the CEO will have experience in a business development role with focus on client management in a wealth advisory or mutual fund organization.They will be a licensed advisor having completed the Canadian Investment Funds course or equivalent and have managed teams in a client management capacity in past.The incumbent understands how to foster trusting relationships with different stakeholders including the Board of Directors, clients, customers, corporate partners and public servants.The CEO is a strong people leader and understands how to develop and motivate others while maintaining a strong corporate culture unique to Tradex.
