- Lead a variety of transportation/traffic planning and design projects involving traffic analysis, parking reviews, road safety audits, signage and pavement marking reviews, neighbourhood traffic management, and transportation demand management
- Support Dillon's leading technical staff in project delivery for a variety of public and private sector clients
- Provide technical expertise on a variety of projects as part of multidisciplinary teams (including planners, project engineers, environmental scientists, technologists)
- Contribute to proposals and support other marketing and administrative efforts
- Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
- Contribute to the career development of supporting staff, including technical direction, coaching, and mentoring
- Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees
- A degree in civil engineering or urban planning, or a diploma in civil engineering technology, with a transportation focus
- At least 5 years' professional experience
- Qualified to practise in Ontario as a Professional Engineer, Registered Professional Planner or Certified Engineering Technologist, or eligible to be qualified within six months
- Transportation impact studies

- Traffic calming studies
- Warrant analysis for traffic control devices
- Working knowledge of intersection performance software: Synchro, SIDRA
- Active transportation and transportation demand management (TDM) programs
- Proficient use of AutoCAD.
