    At McKesson Canada, you'll help us carry out our mission to improve lives and advance healthcare. The Director, IT, Application & Development will be responsible for managing the end-to-end service delivery of consumer experience (B2C) solutions at McKesson Canada. The Director, IT, Application & Development (B2C solutions) will be responsible for leading the IT strategy, architecture, and implementation for our consumer-facing digital platforms and solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of B2C technology trends, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering innovative IT solutions in a fast-paced environment.
    Develop and execute the IT strategy for B2C solutions aligned with the overall business objectives and growth targets.
    Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for technological innovation and differentiation in the B2C space.
    Implement and maintain a robust Service Delivery Operating Model for B2C solutions, ensuring clear accountability and alignment across all stages of service delivery.
    Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery, continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of B2C IT solutions within the broader service ecosystem.
    Team Management:
    Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including software developers, system architects, and project managers.
    Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT organization.
    Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide regular performance feedback and coaching.
    Solution Development and Implementation:
    Oversee the design, development, and implementation of consumer-facing digital solutions, including e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and customer portals.
    Ensure that B2C IT solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure, meeting the highest standards of performance and compliance.
    Managing overall budget for service delivery, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, and that costs are kept within approved budget.
    Evaluate and select external vendors and technology partners to support B2C IT initiatives.
    Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
    Risk Management and Compliance:
    Implement robust cybersecurity measures and data privacy practices per McKesson policies and requirements, to protect consumer information and maintain regulatory compliance.
    Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies for B2C IT systems.
    Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards affecting consumer healthcare IT solutions.
    Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in B2C solution development.
    Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
    Good understanding of project delivery, its practices, techniques, and tools.
    Thorough understanding of IT and software concepts, software design development and modeling
    Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving performance and delivering results.

Développer et exécuter la stratégie informatique pour les solutions B2C en accord avec les objectifs commerciaux globaux et les objectifs de croissance.
    Collaborer avec la haute direction pour identifier les opportunités d'innovation technologique et de différenciation dans l'espace B2C.
    Définir et mesurer les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) pour le services, en améliorant continuellement les processus pour accroître l'efficacité et la satisfaction des clients.
    Gestion d'équipe:
    Diriger et encadrer une équipe de professionnels des TI, y compris des développeurs de logiciels, des architectes système et des chefs de projet.
    Favoriser une culture de collaboration, d'innovation et d'apprentissage continu au sein de l'organisation des TI.
    Définir des objectifs clairs pour l'équipe et fournir régulièrement des commentaires sur la performance et du coaching.
